Christmas Paper Decor
Golden Christmas inspirations. DIY gold roses. Holiday decor ideas #DIY
My toe is verging on the line of becoming a lazy blogger these past couple weeks.
Okay, lazy isn’t really the correct word because it would imply me sitting at home watching Netflix and eating cookies out of the box (my current idea of lazy).

What it really means is my mind is overflowing with so many creative Christmas ideas that I’m working on a thousand projects at once and can’t squeeze out my normal blogging hours!

Anyways here is what you can expect to see over the next few weeks throughout the holidays.
I am working on my largest decor project yet and will be sharing several Christmas tutorials from it.

I’ll be sharing poinsettia tutorials, 3D trophy deer head, Christmas garland decor, DIY Christmas ornaments and so much more!

And ahem..yes they will be revolving around paper. I know I may need therapy, but I love paper anything!

What you won’t see is your weekly Friday freebie. Don’t worry! You will still get freebies packed into the holiday posts and tutorials almost every week.
I’ll be resume my bi-weekly posts after January rolls over.

Okay, so today I’m going to give you a tip on how to add extra pizzazz to paper flowers or really any item in your Christmas closet that needs a fresh look and you just don’t have the heart to throw out.

Gold is just as much a primary Christmas color as red and green. We can’t get by without it! It can add some much needed elegance to pretty much anything.

So did you know its super easy to add some gold metallic spray paint to any paper flower?!

Here is a quick video on how to accomplish Sybelle style rose with applying gold paint successfully.

Meet Abbi

Welcome! I’m Abbi Kirsten. When I am not crafting rainbows of color in my studio, you can probably find me designing SVG files and printables on my couch while cuddling with my two kids, husband, Corgi dog, Shorty and our recent addition, Maci – a golden retriever pup.

My bucket of creative ideas is always overflowing, and spreading the joy of crafting is truly why I love what I do!

In addition to my love (ahem..obsession) for colorfully crafting, I have a passion for helping other small businesses achieve lasting success!
