Summer is a special time full of adventure and smiles. School is out, the sun is hot, and everyone is excited for the enjoyable get-togethers and parties that come with the summer season. In keeping with the relaxed vibe of blue skies and blooming gardens, I am sharing some of my favorite summer paper flower crafts to help bring some sunshine and color to your next gathering. Not only will it bring sunshine into your home, but making paper flowers is a great way to pass summer afternoons.
I am often asked what kind of paper I use (cardstock and crepe paper), which cutting machine I recommend (Cricut), and what supplies are needed to create simple, beautiful paper flowers.

In general, a summer paper flower craft will need these BASIC supplies:
- A Cricut cutting machine or scissors
- Cricut mats and included tools (if not cutting by hand)
- Glue gun
- Cardstock
- Crepe Paper (Plumeria Crepe Paper Flowers)
