Classic Paper Poinsettia Video Tutorial
Watch my step-by-step video tutorial below or keep reading for the picture tutorial.
Begin by cutting out your poinsettia petals. I use 1 green base, 1 large poinsettia petal later, 2 medium layers, and 2 small petal layers. I used my Cricut Maker machine to cut the petals, but you can cut by hand with the PDF printable poinsettia templates.
For those cutting on a Cricut machine like I am, read this post to learn how to upload an SVG file to Cricut Design Space.

For the holly leaves, I use my Cricut scraper tool to crease each leaf down the center.
For the poinsettia petal layers, I use a 1/4 wood dowel to press the petal points against for a curled affect.
To assemble your small poinsettia paper flowers, glue the largest poinsettia layer onto the green holly leaves, alternating the petal points with the leaves.
Repeat the last step with the medium poinsettia flower template layers.
Add in the two smallest poinsettia centerpieces to complete the Christmas flower.
Finally, I like to adorn the center of the poinsettia paper flower with a small pearl. The pearl is optional, but I think it adds a nice finish.
How to Use Your Poinsettias
There are so many ways you can use these small poinsettia paper flowers. A few of my favorites are on a garland (check out how I added them to a lighted garland) or stemmed to put into an arrangement.
