Today I am sharing my beauty and the beast photoshoot set up with you! This enchanting Beauty and the Beast paper flower backdrop is the perfect party decoration or a fun photo opportunity for little girls.

I
made this Beauty and the Beast party backdrop the year of the new live-action movie (which is AWESOME by the way! I got all the goosebumps!). It’s no doubt Beauty and the Beast will be trending for a while. Afterall, it’s a tale as old as time.

Whether you are searching for a photoshoot idea or some Beauty and the Beast party ideas, I hope you all enjoy these photos!  Be sure not to miss all the links I’ve provided in this post to help you recreate it for yourself!

Beauty and the Beast Photoshoot

A little girl dressed as Belle looking into a gold mirror with large red and gold paper roses along green ivy as a backdrop.

The giant paper flower backdrop is the center piece of this photoshoot, but I also collected some other items to enhance the scene. Enchanting items like a hand mirror, vintage books, and candelabra were used in this scene.

My daughter, Ella starred as Belle, and I think she loved it! Can’t you tell?

I found my my daughter’s Belle dress at Target as part of a Beauty and the Beast line in honor of the live action movie.

Ella’s crown was a DIY project I worked on. I purchased some silk poppies and pearl stammen then glued them onto a simple headband which we styled as a crown. You could also use paper flowers!

Creating the Paper Flower Backdrop

I used my Sybelle and Eden paper rose for the paper flower designs. Check out the Sybelle rose video to see how I sprayed the roses gold!

Faux ivy backdrop was hung up on a PVC frame and then the flowers were hung on the ivy. Looking to make your own PVC backdrop frame? Check out this tutorial!

Beauty And The Beast Party Ideas

The Beauty and the Beast look would not be complete without an enchanted rose! Using a simple red silk rose from Hobby Lobby, I drilled a small hole in a glass dome.

Then add some glue in the hole so the rose is held in place. Make sure to have cut your rose length to size for your dome before gluing.

What is your favorite aspect of the Beauty and the Beast shoot? What other ideas would you use to create a party scene? Tell me in the comments!
