Fairy houses and gardens are a fun and quintessential craft that kids or adults of all ages can easily make and love. With the release of the new Cricut Maker Quickswap tools, I began to think of ways to incorporate practicing with these new tools into a craft.
For this DIY Fairy House today I will be showing an (optional) way to add a wood deboss texture and build this enchanting fairy garden from the ground up! If you don’t have the Maker, don’t sweat it, you can still make this craft with the Explore machine.
What is a Fairy House?
What would happen if you built a tiny garden palace fit for the size of a fairy? Would they come and live inside? Fairy houses are just like they sound – houses built perfectly for fairies!
There are many different styles of fairy houses you can buy for your fairy garden, from teeny-tiny mushroom decor to tree stump mansions. But if you are wanting to craft your own fairyland I am going to show you how with just some paper! Plus we will transform it into a luminary so you can get a peek-a-boo effect with your fairy inside!
This is a darling craft to do with your kids or grandkids!
