I can never deny my excitement for that first day of summer to get here. Making my way to the beach for the first time, catching some rays on the patio, or playing in the sunshine with friends, family, & kiddos…the anticipation has got me! But we all know the kids get bored at some point, so I have curated a long list of ideas, crafts, and activities to keep kids and parents busy all summer long!

Squirt Gun Painting by Fireflies and Mud Pies
I tried this squirt gun watercolor painting activity with my kids, and they loved it so much kept asking to do it again! Even as an adult, it is so much fun! Plus, the pretty colors make artwork I actually want to hang up around my house!
Dropcloth Picnic Blankets by Brit + Co
A lovely picnic at the park is at the very top of my must-do list this summer, and I don’t think I can do it without one of these picnic blankets! A little fabric paint and cheap drop cloth, and you’re relaxing on the green in style!
